We pride ourselves on our excellent fresh food onboard. A mix of international and local cuisine is prepared for you and you can specify your requirements beforehand. Good quality linen is supplied for your cabins.

Our current sailing area is from Indonesia to Myanmar and includes Sumatra, Singapore, Borneo, Langkwi, Penang and Malacca in Malaysia as well as Phuket, Phi Phi, and the Similans in Thailand, the Andaman Islands and the Mergui Archipeligo in Myanmar.

Bareboat Charters

For insurance purposes we do not actually bare boat charter. However, our prices are so competative that you will have a hard time geting a decent bareboat for less. Meniscus is more homely than any bareboat so why not let us take care of you and remove all the hassle? Your Yacht Charter includes Crew and the boat is fully provisioned for you. You can still plan, navigate and crew to your hearts content but let us look after you, show you the best sights and anchorages as well as give you some extra tuition as you go. With us onboard you can have a real holiday, save the stress and probably even save money.

Meniscus of Gweek

Meniscus of Gweek, a Bruce Roberts 45, will be your home for crewed sailing holiday. 

Meniscus means the smallest crescent of the moon and Gweek is a village at the top of the beautiful Helford River in Cornwall where she was fitted out.

She has proved herself, in well over 50,000 sea miles, to be a good all round boat capable of making good passage times and sailing through several storms. She has also beaten many larger boats in races and regattas around the world.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Meniscus carries all the safety equipment required by the RYA - Royal Yachting Association, MCA and the Department of Transport for a vessel of her size engaged in crewed sailing holidays, sail training, skippered yacht charters and sailing unlimited distances from land. In addition to this she is fitted with phased array, forward looking sonar, which gives the ability to sail amongst reefs in poor light conditions. She is also fitted with an integratred GPS, auto pilot and radar system, which means that she can be navigated automatically.
